Psycho-educational presentations for community groups. I regularly provide talks for San Diego community groups at no charge. In recent years I’ve offered presentations for the Scripps Research Institute’s “Lunch & Learn” series, the Kiwanis Club of La Jolla, and other similar groups. These presentations cover a wide range of topics, including:

- Sleep: getting your zzz’s
- From everyday anxiety to overwhelming panic: what to do and when to go for help
- Community service and well-being
- Supporting your student’s transition from high school to college
Workshops for mental health professionals. I also offer continuing education workshops for mental health professionals. In recent years I’ve been invited to present workshops and facilitate formal debriefings at the University of Michigan, University of Massachusetts-Amherst, Brigham Young University, Purdue University, UC San Diego, the San Diego Center for Children, and at the annual conference of the Association of University and College Counseling Center Directors.
